CAMERON MacGOWAN
Born in Manly, Sydney to the sounds of waves in the background, water has always been a big part of my life, from playing in it to working with it. Growing up in the UK, I enjoyed everything Europe had to offer and I never wanted to work too far from the coast.
I was lucky enough to work for some big names in the industry in the UK to gain experience which I now cherish and love passing on to the up-and-coming stylists that now form Smyths inc.
I’ve always thought a haircut should suit the individual and be easy to maintain. Shine, gloss and healthy sexy hair…
Having a passion for surfing and being addicted to the coffee culture meant Noosa was the obvious place to work and enjoy my family life. As I’ve always said "it’s like heaven on a stick!"

LIZ HEATON
Melbourne born, from 16 I have made hairdressing a passion and a career. Working with many talented people has enabled me to hone my craft and given me the opportunity to educate many young stylists along the way.
I moved to Noosa in the early 90’s, working with Colin Smyth, the founder of Smyths Hairdressing.
When Cameron returned from the UK for his second stint @ Smyths in 2005, the inc. concept was born and we knew that we could continue the tradition and take the salon into a new era.
Our aim is to exceed our client’s expectations and we endeavor to do that every day.
